Linen care guide

Linen is one of those fabrics that just gets better with time—softer, cozier, and full of character. With a little care, your pieces will last for years and stay as beautiful as the day you got them. Here’s how to keep them in top shape:
Washing
- Linen loves water! Feel free to toss it in the washing machine—warm water (up to 40°C) with a mild detergent is best
- Skip the bleach and brightening agents to keep the fabric’s natural texture and color intact
- Wash separately or with similar colors to avoid lint transfer
Drying
- Air drying is the way to go—just give your linen a shake and hang it up. It dries fast!
- Prefer a more relaxed, natural look? No need to iron
- If using a dryer, keep it on low heat and take your linens out while slightly damp to prevent deep creases
Ironing (If You Must)
- Love a crisp, polished look? Iron while the fabric is still slightly damp on a medium-hot setting
- For an easier option, a quick steam refresh does wonders!
Storage
- Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight
- Avoid plastic bags—linen likes to breathe. Wrap in fabric or paper instead
- You can always use the box it came in for easy storage!
Stain Tips
- Spills happen! Blot (don’t rub) with a clean cloth and wash as soon as possible
- For tougher stains, soak in warm water with a bit of baking soda before washing
What About Candle Wax?
- Let the wax harden completely—no touching! Pop the linen in the freezer for a bit if needed
- Once the wax is brittle, gently scrape it off with a spoon
- Place a paper towel over the remaining wax and iron on low heat to absorb the rest
- Wash as usual, and your linen will be good as new
Linen is made to be lived in and loved—so don’t stress too much
